Sam Delaney: Sort Your Head Out – Mental Health without all the Bollocks

In a recent survey on Substance Use and Mental Health Indicators in the US, 60% of Americans that are currently battling drug or alcohol addictions also have jobs. It’s way more common than we think and many of us have a problem and don’t know it. So when do you know? When your whole life has fallen apart? When you’re living in a bedsit (if you’re lucky) and seeing your children once a month?

Sam Delaney, celebrated author, podcaster, TV celebrity and journalist sits down and bares his soul as we discuss his new book – Sort Your Head Out – about mental health for men, which addresses drink and drug addiction, interventions and recovery – a raw, compassionate and hilarious account of why opening up is the first step to sorting your head out.

Sam is a qualified Mental Health counselor and host of mental health podcast The Reset.

If you or someone you know is struggling with addiction or mental health issues, you can seek help by subscribing for free to The Reset – it’s a reader-supported publication and if you donate a little bit of cash, you can get access to all sorts of great tips and content, that’s like therapy but also like talking to a mate.
